Noodle Terms of Use

Effective Date: October 21, 2026
Last Updated: October 21, 2026

Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the Noodle application or any related services. By creating an account or using Noodle, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Noodle.

1. Who We Are

Noodle is operated by Jessica Agarwal, an individual ("Noodle," "we," "us," or "our"). If you have questions about these Terms, contact us at support@noodleit.me.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Noodle. If you are between 13 and 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

By using Noodle, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Your Account

Creating an account. You create a Noodle account with your email address. We authenticate you via email one-time passcode (OTP) — no password is required or stored.

Account security. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure. If you believe your Noodle account has been accessed without authorization, notify us promptly at support@noodleit.me.

One account per person. Accounts are for individual use. You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of others without their consent.

4. The Service

Noodle is a personal relationship-management tool that helps you:

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes.

5. Artificial Intelligence Features

Several Noodle features use artificial intelligence (Anthropic's Claude) to process your notes and generate outputs — including extracting structured data from your captures, summarizing what you know about a person, generating nudge messages, and answering your Ask queries.

You understand and agree that:

6. Your Content

Ownership. You retain ownership of the notes, person profiles, and other information you enter into Noodle ("Your Content").

License to us. By entering Your Content into Noodle, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, process, and use Your Content solely to operate and provide the service to you — including to deliver AI features as described in Section 5. Anthropic doesn't use Your Content to train its models.

Your responsibility. You are solely responsible for Your Content. Do not enter information into Noodle that you do not have the right to record, or that could be used to harm others.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Noodle only for lawful, personal relationship-management purposes. You agree not to use Noodle to:

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these rules, at our discretion and without prior notice.

8. Privacy

Your privacy matters to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information and is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please read it.

9. Permissions and Device Features

Noodle may request access to certain device features — including your microphone, device contacts, photo library, calendar, and push notifications. Granting these permissions is optional; you can revoke them at any time in your device settings. Revoking a permission disables the associated feature but does not affect the rest of the app.

10. Account Deletion

Delete your account anytime in the app (Profile → Delete account) or email support@noodleit.me from your account email. When you delete your account, we will delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period (generally within 30 days), subject to legal retention obligations. Information stored only on your device is removed when you delete the app.

11. Intellectual Property

Noodle and its original content, features, and functionality — excluding Your Content — are owned by Jessica Agarwal and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of Noodle without our written permission.

12. Third-Party Services and Links

Noodle integrates with third-party services (including Supabase, Anthropic, and Sentry) to deliver its features. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies in addition to ours.

The app may allow you to initiate calls, text messages, or emails to contacts through your device's native apps (Phone, Messages, Mail). Those actions are governed by your device's apps and your mobile carrier, not by us.

13. Disclaimers

No professional advice. Noodle is a personal productivity tool and is not a substitute for professional relationship counseling, mental health services, legal advice, or other professional services.

"As is" service. Noodle is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses or harmful components.

AI outputs. AI-generated content is produced automatically and may be incorrect. We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI outputs.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Noodle and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of goodwill — arising from your use of or inability to use the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of Noodle will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or USD $100 if no amount was paid).

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.

15. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Noodle and its operator from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt arising from: (a) your use of the service in violation of these Terms; (b) Your Content; or (c) your violation of any third party's rights.

16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of Noodle that cannot be resolved informally will be resolved through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its applicable rules, except that either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction for claims involving intellectual property rights. You agree to bring claims only in your individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date and provide notice through the app or by email. Your continued use of Noodle after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
